I, of course, recognise that, like most of us, you might benefit from a bespoke personal training programme designed to meet your goals – one that is adapted to your particular abilities, your needs and your lifestyle.

In my role as a Personal Trainer, I shall start with a physical analysis. This session may alert us to possible areas that should to be addressed, but, most importantly, it will allow us, together, to agree specific objectives, timelines and ways to achieve them. It will then form the basis of your own personal training programme.

Whether your primary goals are to improve general cardiovascular fitness, increase strength or size, weight loss or perform better in a particular sport, my approach will be a uniquely multidisciplinary one that takes into account such aspects as lifestyle, nutrition, sleep and perhaps even psychological factors. It will also address such important physical areas as flexibility, motor skills and functionality.

If you feel it necessary, you may opt for your programme to go hand-in-hand with therapy sessions. Given that, very often, such things as a lack of motivation and unhelpful eating patterns may have a psychological basis, you may find this helpful. Either way, it will be designed to be both challenging and enjoyable.

Alternatively, if you prefer a more basic option, I will simply design your unique personal training programme and then ensure that your technique is correct and that you know how to proceed on your own. However, it should be stressed that the best results invariably come to those clients who use my services on an on-going basis.

As with a therapist/client relationship, a personal trainer/client relationship is key to success. For this reason, if, after our initial meeting, you choose not to go on and use my services, I shall not charge you for my time.
