motivation & goal-setting

It can be incredibly fruitful and even life changing, to set proper personal goals. Goal setting techniques tend to be used by most successful business people, top-level athletes and indeed achievers in all fields. They provide both a long-term vision and short-term motivation. Few leaders in their respective fields would be where they are today had they not set effective goals throughout their lives.

I now offer a four-session, one-on-one coaching workshop during which we will work together on many important levels. The first session is about us getting to know each other. I will take a history of you and gain valuable insight into your previous achievements, fears and aspirations. It will also be a good opportunity for you to ask questions and get a sense of who I am and how I work before committing to the course.

I call the second session in this series the Break-through or Transformational session. It is the most intensive one lasts about 4 hours. During this time we will not only examine (and put right) those personal believes that have held you back in the past, but also consider which values and objectives are most important to you. We will see what parts of your life are on track and where changes might be appropriate or necessary.

By discovering what you really want from life and therefore your true objectives, you can become acutely aware of where you need to concentrate your efforts. This knowledge will allow you to avoid many of the distractions and pitfalls that might otherwise steal your precious time and energy. More importantly, doing the things that are necessary will become much more fulfilling and even more fun.

The third and forth sessions are about support, planning, accessing the necessary resources, skills, strategy, attitude and motivation. I will teach you to develop highly effective techniques to manage stress and other emotions on your journey to success, whatever that might mean to you. We will look at the law of attraction and I will also create a motivational CD tailor-made to you and your needs.

anxiety & stress management

When confronted by a sudden stressful situation, our bodies, as a survival strategy, adopt a fight-or-flight reaction. This is the system's way of gearing up for a potentially needed burst of energy. The strategy probably served our early ancestors extremely well, in that they were far more likely to encounter a dangerous bear in a forest than we are today. However, it does not always sit quite as well with our modern lifestyles where constant stress has become endemic. Indeed, anxiety and stress leave many of us to cope with very high levels of adrenaline in our systems for far more protracted periods than our forefathers probably had to deal with.

These extended anxious episodes not only significantly increase our likelihood of experiencing such serious conditions as heart attacks, but also increase our susceptibility to much psychosomatic and other illness. In addition, they severely reduce our ability to cope and be creative, and impact on our quality and enjoyment of life. So it is essential, not only for our sense of well being, that we learn to effectively manage our levels of anxiety and stress, but also for our health and perhaps very survival.

I now offer a powerful three-session, one-on-one stress and anxiety management workshop during which we will examine both your fears and the specific situations that trigger stress and anxiety in your life. We will look at the ways in which you deal with these situations and the levels of stress they produce. We will also perhaps see what limiting beliefs you have in relation to them. Using hypnosis and very effective NLP techniques, I will teach you new ways to cope. You will learn self-hypnosis, how to relax and even the way to easily access those emotions you desire. These are essential skills for anyone even moderately traumatised by the pace and demands of our modern world.

Your self-image is an accumulation of every attitude and opinion you have been told about yourself since birth. Collectively they have formed the unconscious picture you have of yourself, dictating not only how you perceive yourself, but also determining how you respond to life and all its various events. Further, they really determine what you believe you are capable of doing or not doing. your self-image reflects your belief system, which becomes reinforced in a dreadful vicious cycle. (It causes you to behave in a certain way and to tell yourself certain things, which in turn supports your existing self-image.) The truth is that self-image is often much skewed and has little to do with either reality or actual ability or inability.

I now offer an effective six-session, one-on-one workshop during which we will work together on many important levels. Not only will we examine and put right those personal believes which have been holding you back in the past, but we will consider, which values and objectives are most important to you. I will teach you to develop highly effective techniques to manage stress and other emotions on your journey to success, whatever that might mean to you, and also create a confidence-building CD, tailor-made to you and your individual needs.
